Emilia Fernandes was born in Portugal, and migrated to Australia in November 1987. Showing artistic talent even at an early age, skilled in the textiles industry, running her own clothes design business in Portugal, and having worked as a manager and consultant in the fashion industry (bridal and evening wear) in Australia. Emilia Fernandes has been exhibiting her work in rented space galleries.
